What I love most about living on the third floror isbthe light, wind the how the perfect garden stays full and plump. We decided to go to basics this year and put things that we know grow well and things we actually eat!!
So, here are our gardens!
Romaine and californian lettuce, cellery, red and green peppers, green yellow peas, strawberry, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, basil, mint, various plants and flowers of which my favorite are the dragon wings that can grow into a small tree over the summer!! We had
raspberry that grew for three years but it eventually dried up. We also had tomatoes that surprisingly grew in a compost pot that went out after two summers.
Waking up to this is great and getting to eat the food we grow is even better. I don’t have much time to spend on taking care of plants but you just decide which plants you get knowing how much time you can give your garden!!
So if you have a balcony with flowers and plants, cheers to you. If you don’t you’re kissing out of simple joys of life.
Have a good one people!
